Quitting is never an option
I've been doing a bunch of cold outreach to get my first customer for my service.
I've tried posting on Facebook groups, sending DMs on Instagram, and doing cold emails—still, no luck. However, it won't discourage me. It doesn't mean that I'll quit after a few messages. You see, getting clients by doing cold outreach is a numbers game.
Your luck negates your outreach volume.
Sometimes, I feel like quitting. But is it really quitting that I feel? I think it's not.
It's just that I was impatient.
And impatience kills success.
It's always:
You're one outreach away from getting your first client.
Besides, if I quit, it means that I will lose. And losing has never been my option. There is no plan B—it's either I make it or not. No in between.
The dread of work isn't going to go away, so I do my role and do the hard work as well.
There is no option.
